Cassy Vires of Home Wine Kitchen, Table lands recipe in July Bon Appétit

Cassy Vires, owner and executive chef of Home Wine Kitchen in Maplewood and the brand-new Table in Benton Park, has contributed a recipe to the July issue of Bon Appétit magazine.

Vires is one of three chefs to provide a summer-friendly cantaloupe recipe on page 24 of the issue. Vires' recipe for a melon and prosciutto risotto is also available online.

Of the recipe, Vires tells Bon Appétit, "I like to take a classic pairing and turn it on its head."

Vires and husband Josh Renbarger opened their latest venture, the communal-dining Table, two weeks ago.
